Speeches
Chances are someone will want to say a few words on Prom Night whether it’s the Headteacher thanking students for being the best year ever or the students thanking the teachers. The key thing to organise is who says what, when and most importantly for how long!
It is customary for the Head Boy and Girl to make a brief speech and present flowers to any staff they wish to thank. It’s up to the Prom Committee to make sure that any speakers know when they are speaking during the evening, have prepared their speeches and are told, most firmly, not to waffle on.
