‘Arriving’ is a big part of Prom Night. Turning up in anything from the traditional stretch limousine to a double decker London Bus, black cab, flashy sports car, tank or helicopter is all part of the fun. It doesn’t have to cost the earth either. If you get together with a group of friends and all leave from the one address you can share the hire charge making even high cost options affordable. It’s a great photo opportunity.
Budget Idea
Ask around and see if any family or friends have a great car which would be fun to arrive in – a super sleek Merc; unique old Austin Healy; a VW van which could be decorated for the night or even a parent’s work vehicle which would do the job. Finally, this one is weather dependent, but worth considering for the guys – a bicycle or tandem. Best to have someone drive you to the venue and then cycle down the drive as you don’t want to arrive hot and sweaty.
